"end of life" for a product...

Does anyone know how to translate "end of life" in spanish?
It is end of life for a product no an actual person's life.
For example...
The product from microsoft was "end of life" in 1999?
I'm currently translating it into "Fin de Soporte".
If there is more of an official term please let me know.

By the way I created a new "Technical Spanish" group. Computer geeks or anyone interested in Computers or anyone at all, please feel free to join.

In English, I think most people would say the software reached end of life / end of support. Sorry, I don't know about the Spanish.

la responsabilidad de Microsoft sobre este producto se caduca o se vence en 1999

I apologize don't have tildes at this time.

sorry, I meant to say, el mantenimiento de este producto por microsoft se termina en 1999.

I think this is better, Microsoft termina el mantenimiento de este producto en 1999

se caduca en 1999. No estoy muy seguro.
El pasaporte se caduca en 1999
La responsabilidad de Microsoft de este producto se caduca en 1999.

There has to be an easy way to write the above
