Rhymes, couplets, brief verses. English and Spanish
Call them bite-sized poems. Call it Internet poetry. I plan to post some mini-verses here. Feel free to post some of your own.
There is one rule here that does not apply anywhere else. Make it anything from a pithy commentary to a light-hearted rhyme, but it must be a couplet. 2 lines minimum, 4 lines maximum.
Feel free to post it in english or spanish.

From the far South I come to join
those that are near and those beyond;
all sensitive souls that gather here,
if you treasure love, then we are peers.
Being a native Spanish speaker,
my English will, no doubt, be weaker.
But what is life but an eternal struggling
to be our best, thus I'll keep on trying.
I feel romance in the air tonight
and I would really love to rhyme
some bit-sized poems to share with you
I hope you will enjoy them too.
I'm green!, Heidi must be snoring,
while I'm here...still working!
Early at night, I'm falling asleep,
in the bottom of my dreams, I'm falling deep.

When I get bored, I chew some gum,
then I post a funny rhyme in this forum.
