Colinas onduladas: hills that are rounded ... and scattered

Colinas ondulantes: rolling hills; colinas que se suceden unas a otras mostrando un relieve ondulado. ETA: formando ondas, más que ondulado.

People tend to mix up both. Take a look about what Google has to show about

2. colinas ondulantes

You may imagine that the same way cabello ondulado is curly hair, it's pretty impresive to think of curly hills -not depicted by Van Gogh but Picasso or Dalí-. Spanish speakers are this way so I used ondulando but I should've used ondeado instead. - aleCcowaN, Oct 3, 2017
