The penguin on the right is talking to his girlfriend: "I get the feeling that we're outnumbered by the seals! Do you think that they're trying to.tell us something?!" The girlfriend: "Well, they did say to us three days ago that they hoped we had enjoyed our stay here, and that we would have a good journey!"
In this context: Tell us somthing = drop us a hint!
