I suppose that the advantage of being followed around by a black cloud is that the flowers will eventually grow around you.

The young girl: " I think that I dropped my necklace around here! I hope that I can find it easily and that I have not lost it ...because It was a very special birthday present from my boyfriend!"

Hi Feliz Es la chica o la joven smile ...typo "pueda" ...'no lo haya" I think you need the subjunctive What do you think? - Coffeelate 34 mins ago

This landscape around the girl is very interesting. On one side it is wet and rainy, on the other arid. It may be that it is a symbol.

You pretty much took my idea. The cracked mud has a drought kind of feel to it so it's one extreme to the other. Nice entry! - Sassette, Jul 19, 2017

Mother nature has confronted a number of grand cataclysms in the past and has survived- hopefully she survives the next one.

Darn it! Every time I go for a walk along the seashore it pours with rain.

I was of course referring to the girl ...if you were not writing the sentence from her perspective, then please excuse the misunderstanding, Billy in which case it would be el pobrecito :) - FELIZ77, Jul 19, 2017
Me alegra que ya no te equivocas ;) Un trabajo menos - 00376109, Jul 19, 2017

How I love to walk by the sea

To hear and feel the wind is free

to watch the waves come to shore

these things make me want them more

¡O no! Otra vez no me he vestido correctamente.

Oh no! Once again I haven't dressed correctly. Now this dress will have to go to the dry-cleaners.

It doesn't pay to make predictions
Sleeping on an unmade bed
Finding out wherever there is comfort there is pain
Only one step away
Like four seasons in one day

No vale la pena hacer predicciones
Dormir en una cama deshecha
Averiguar que donde hay comodidad hay dolor
Sólo a un paso
Como cuatro estaciones en un día

Translating lyrics is hard. Corrections appreciated :) - jellonz, Jul 19, 2017
Very good effort, Jellonz :) - FELIZ77, Jul 20, 2017
You are right: translating lyrics is difficult! I would only suggest one change: line 4 in the Spanish change to: Falta solo un paso You might want to wait to see what Coffee says :) - FELIZ77, Jul 20, 2017
Thanks Feliz. I got that line from reverso contexto and it seems a common way to say "only one step away", but it would be good to know the grammar involved in the "a un" unless or course it is just idiomatic. - jellonz, Jul 20, 2017

As the planet warms, more extremes of weather must be expected. Let's hope the young woman can adapt.
