Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes. Pon tu comentario/ título/ pie de foto a esta im! agen (tanto en español como en inglés) y vota por las respuestas que te gusten. Grammar question: Would: te vamos* a agarrar be better here or are both options equally valid (interchangeable?) / Pregunta acerca de la gramatica: ¿Sería mejor decir: te vamos* a agarrar in este contexto, o ambas opciones son igualmente válidas, es decir, intercambiables?
Editor's note: Coffee and other native speakers, a native Spanish speaker, whose nick-name (apodo) I have long since forgotten, commented on a post in Spanishdict that the near / immediate future indicates (means) that you are planning to do something, whereas the future indicative indicates a promise to do something in the future. My dilema is that the girls' action of catching their friend when she falls so that she does not hurt herself is in the inmediate future but it is more of a promise than a plan to do something, so which tense is more appropriate in this context, please: the near future or the future indicative?
