Indirect and Direct Object Pronouns223
Hello, everyone. I am having trouble with my homework and would appreciate some help, please.
The instructions are: "Change the following sentences so that they are negative, and replace the IO noun with the correct IO pronoun." El mesero da la cuenta a Juan. Guadalupe manda una carta a nosotros. Traigo el libro a Susana. Ustedes dan los abrigos a nosotros. Juan compra flores para ella. El mesero da el menú a ellos. Ellos dan una propina a mí.

Hello, everyone. I am having trouble with my homework and would appreciate some help, please.

Here are my attempts:
El mesero da la cuenta a Juan. El mesero ... da la cuenta.
Guadalupe manda una carta a nosotros. Guadalupe ... manda una carta.

Good luck!
Okay, I'll give you a lift.
- El mesero da la cuenta a Juan.
Juan is the indirect object, so we'll need le as the indirect object pronoun. The sentence becomes:
El mesero no le da la cuenta.
