I agree with completely Bosquederoble, although if you are the lazy type of person who uses as few words as possible you could respond by saying: Para mí también (Para mí también hace mucho calor).

Hace mucho calor- It is very hot.
Me too (huh?)
If he had said- tengo mucho calor- I am very hot
You could answer- Yo también (tengo mucho calor)
As in I also (am very hot)
Yo because it is the subject of the dropped part.
An example with mí:
Me gusta ver la tele. (I like to watch TV).
A mí también. (Me too) (Don't ask me why I can say that in English instead of "I do too")
Here you have an indirect object. This will only make sense if you understand how gustar works.
Maybe another example:
Me importa eso. That is important to me.
A mí también. To me as well.
