This little word has many meanings.

It can express exasperation, "¡Ya!" - I'm coming already. Surprise of something that's happened, "¿Estás aquí, ya?" - You're here already?. Or about to happen, "¡Cuídate, ya pasará! Be careful, it'll happen!

Or when you've just had enough of someone, or a situation, "!Basta ya!" - Enough!
