Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes. Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos. . Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun.

Of course for an elephant there are more useful exercises like this.

Elephants can make "Hang in there!" posters also.

This is what I call "going out on a limb."

If I can drag myself out a little farther in this tree, I will be directly over the lake below, and when I let myself drop, I will create the best belly flop ever.

En "over The lake below" you can say "sobre el lago". When you are "sobre" something, is obvious that this thing, is under (debajo) you Everything else is just fine - EleRo, May 16, 2016
Gracias, EleRo. :) - bosquederoble, May 16, 2016
I was just trying to distinguish it from the lake you can see in the distance, to imply a hidden lake directly below. :) - bosquederoble, May 16, 2016

When I said "trunk" I didn't mean tree trunk!

The elephant forgot what his trunk is for.

Man below: I can almost reach the top now to trim it. Climb up just a little bit farther.
Elephant: In a pig's eye I will!

I think that In a pig's eye I will would be something like 'de ninguna manera' - Pablo064, May 17, 2016
Thanks, Pablo. I looked it up and got several possibilities, one of which was the one I put in parentheses. - AnnRon, May 17, 2016

Note to self: some leaves are not worth the snack.

The elephant is imitating the sloth. I think it will end in tears.
