Can someone reupload Vikingo's Spanish accents program?

Hi all! I've been using Vikingo's little program for my Spanish course for over a year now, and unfortunately, my computer broke and I had to reformat everything(losing the program in the process). In addition, the link to download the program isn't working anymore, and I really like the program, since I use a Windows laptop and it makes life easier for me.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Update: This program is a self-made program by "Vikingo", a SpanishDict member. It is not known to the general public. However, if someone can reupload the program, I recommend people with Windows laptops to try it! It is extremely efficient.

UPDATE #2: I've just contacted the maker of the program, and he reuploaded the file. I strongly suggest any of you looking for similar program to check it out.

Welcome to SpanishDict. We are a language learning site. Have you tried googling it? - rac1, Mar 24, 2016
Yes, but it was a self-made program by one of SpanishDict's members. - whatanoob, Mar 24, 2016
Did you see Vikingo's answer below?? The one that created the program? - rac1, Mar 31, 2016

Hola cariños smile

Sorry, I just changed hosting providers, and forgot that there was a link to spanish.exe floating around in SpanishDict (blush). I've re-uploaded the program now, it should be available at www.leithe.no/spanish.exe again smile

As this is a program written in the scripting language "autohotkey", it will have to have access to your keyboard, and there are some anti-virus programs that quite naturally sees this as suspicious activity.

Take care smile

I use the US international keyboard, I have never used his program. As far as I can tell it has disappeared off the internet. Unless some other member has a copy, you are probably stuck with one of the other options Rac linked, except I did find a program- but have no used it and don’t know how it compares.

A simple hotkey program that provides a quick and intuitive way to type accented characters used in Spanish. Hold down CapsLock and press ‘a’ to type ‘á’. Hold down Shift as well to type Á. No need to memorize obscure ASCII numbers that don’t work on many laptops anyway!

The program does not require installation; simply download and run, and you can start typing accents!

To prevent accidental activation of CapsLock when typing accents, you must hit the CapsLock key twice in rapid succession to turn CapsLock on and off.

This program is and always will be 100% free: free to use, free to modify, and free of viruses (certified by Jotti). The source code for all my programs are here, for you to inspect yourself.

I have a key board where I can do all the accents save I haven't learned how to put the tilde on the n nor do an inverted question mark.

One of our teachers recommended 'lexibar' it may not be quite what you are looking for, but it is perfect for me. They do other languages but this link is for Spanish:

lexibar Spanish

Thanks for the link, but it is not useful to me because I don't have a number pad :( - whatanoob, Mar 25, 2016
