Me parece que Nessie es amistoso, por lo menos con su propio dueño.
It seems that Nessie is friendly, at least with its owner.

Un sistema de partenogénesis en el que la madre tiene sólo una hija no me parece ser uno bien desarrollado para la supervivencia a largo plazo de una especie.
A system of parthenogenesis in which the mother only has one daughter does not seem to me to be one that is well developed for the long term survival of a species.

The island chiefs promised me that if I could (were able to) capture enough prisoners... sorry, I mean tourists, to full my cave, they would stop making me take (carry) people on these stupid scenic rides!"

El cabalito de mar gigante: " Nunca te prometí que sería el camino de vuelta correcto, pero, de todas formas, ¡nadie habló nada de regresar! ¡Los jefes de esta isla me prometieron que si (yo) podía capturar suficiente prisioneros... lo siento, ...quiero decir, turistas, para llenar mi cueva, desistirían de hacerme llevar a la gente con estas vueltas estúpidas!
or perhaps: dejarían de hacerme llevar etc....
