There are two verbs in Spanish meaning to be Ser and Estar
You need to use the verb estar here but we are not going to do your homework for you lol You need to do it! )

By the way, the verb estar is always used to form the present progressive when talking about an action. eg: I am walking, talking, sleeping, etc...
