Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Woman waiting at the bus stop with her children, is thnking: "We have to wait over an hour for this ruddy bus, and then when it finally turns up (arrives) it is full-up Typical!! I am certainly going to complain about this!"

Matjam, I want to say this as nicely as possible. You need to learn some Spanish grammar--especially how to congugate verbs. I can give you a link to SD's own Spanish Course (not fluencia) if you wish. Send me a PM. - Daniela2041, Oct 21, 2015
I have already done that, Dani, several times. - sanlee, Oct 21, 2015
All the votes he can receive on this forum won't make any difference/won't help him at all if he makes little progress because he chooses not to learn any grammar - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015
OK yes I admit I am new to Spanish and need help. Sanlee has helped me a bit with giving me a link to Lessons. I am currently working on the first right now. - Matjam, Oct 21, 2015
Good Metjam, well done :) - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015
I have to recognize that your translation is cool ¿Qué estamos esperando otra vez? :) - Pablo064, Oct 22, 2015

These trunks at the bus station indicate the time, now we can not see such models, they have disappeared completely .

Porcu, I think it would sound better to say::They 'have' completely disappeared or they disappeared completely. :) - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015
Try to avoid to use subject pronouns for objects..tales modelos, desaparecieron completamente.. :) - Pablo064, Oct 22, 2015

Mommy, aren't we supposed to be at platform 9 3/4s?

Note: It is a Harry Potter reference.

There's no other way they could afford, therefore they have to wait for the bus. The tough times are reflected in the faces of the people. [1943 ... USA. . . gasoline rationed] color>

Daddy is not going to be happy when he finds out how much it cost to fix my broken arm.

Ann, I think that the verb curarse would be better here as you are talking about a person's bone healing , rather than a clock being repaired lol :) I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015
The verb soldarse is also another valid option :) I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015
Thanks, Feliz. These fine distinctions are beyond me unless it occurs to me that I need to use the dictioary. - AnnRon, Oct 21, 2015
I decided to try "tratar" since the cost would be for the treatment. What do you think?. - AnnRon, Oct 21, 2015
Just my take on it. - gringojrf, Oct 21, 2015
I think that's better , Gringo :) - FELIZ77, Oct 21, 2015

In the past they had to wait at the bus station. Now we have to wait in traffic jams.
