Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!**

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and post one or so captions and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

The picture is from the olden days. Nowadays cats send their own e-mail and enjoy handling the mouse .

Not as much fun as a ball of yarn or a roll of toilet paper, but it will do.

Technical jargon alert!

Wow, I thought tractor feed paper went out in the 1980s.

Everything that looks like a mouse's tail is attractive to a cat.

Maybe the cat is a spy and thinks this is 'morse code'?

Acoustic Kitty was a CIA project launched by the Directorate of Science & Technology, which in the 1960s intended to use cats to spy on the Kremlin and Soviet embassies. In an hour-long procedure a veterinary surgeon implanted a microphone in the cat's ear canal, a small radio transmitter at the base of its skull and a thin wire into its fur.[1] This would allow the cat to innocuously record and transmit sound from its surroundings. Due to problems with distraction, the cat's sense of hunger had to be addressed in another operation.[2] Victor Marchetti, a former CIA officer, said Project Acoustic Kitty cost about $20 million

I think small animals play with anything, but they taste everything too, and then they will be very disappointed.

Ann, I am sure that you need the imperfect subjunctive here, in Spanish : Es como si estuviera poseído. - FELIZ77, Sep 19, 2015
I am sure that the combination of the words : como si triggers (activates /necesitates) the subjunctive - FELIZ77, Sep 19, 2015

The designers of toys for pets, like those that design for young children, struggle to create something more interesting than the items that are normally found at home.

The 'Spy Cat': "Perfect! Now that I have the microfilm ...all have to do is to find (work out) the secret code that the mice have written near to one of the holes....should be 'a piece of cake' (ie: simple)! Wait a minute, how many holes are there?!"
