trying to describe pinchos????

trying to describe pinchos????

Hi, so I am researching about pinchos for homework, and I want to present a few different kinds of pinchos.

How do I say "pinchos on a stick", "pinchos served(placed?) on bread", and "pinchos served on plates"?

What I came up with are "pinchos que están atravesados por palillos" "pinchos que se sirven con pan" "pinchos que se sirven en platos pequeños". Would this be a correct way to say it?

Any help is appreciated!

Edit: Oops, I guess I didn't explain enough in my original post, sorry! I am trying to present pinchos in 3 categories. First is pinchos on bread, second is pinchos served individually on small plates, and third are like pinchos morunos(?) but I want to describe that they are on a stick, which is why I phrased is like that above.

I think of pincho moruno as a traditional tapa - like a kebab - Mardle, Mar 25, 2015
jajaj the word 'pinchos' is very funny to me I didn't see any mistake in your sentences :) - Pablo064, Mar 26, 2015

When I have eaten pinchos/pintxos they were all on a stick as you present the sticks to the barman when you have finished and that is how you are charged - but I haven't visited the North of Spain yet so I have eaten them in Basque run bars in other parts of Spain. I have added something more - I love the seafood ones. Here is a picture: enter image description here

The best place is supposed to be San Sebastian. They are a bite or two bite sized snack which you have with a drink - in the Basque country traditionally cider or txocoli a white wine. Individual bars will have a reputation for a particular one

Here is a programme which includes some:

Take a look at the second link. - rac1, Mar 25, 2015
If this is not your answer, be patient, someone will come along, hopefully a native Spanish speaker. - rac1, Mar 25, 2015
oh las brochetas I didn't know that "pinchos" were "brochetas" - Pablo064, Mar 26, 2015
pinchosmorunos are a type of kebab on a skewer but pinchos are a huge array of tapas usually on - Mardle, Mar 26, 2015
bread held with a cocktail stick though in the North of Spain where they use term - Mardle, Mar 26, 2015

What are pinchos?

Well, now that I know what they are, I would say pinchos de palillo, pinchos sobre/de pan, and pinchos en plato.

But I am not a native speaker and not from Spain.

If you are in Spain go to a bar and ask the bartender. It is a good way to practice your conversation skills and you will get your answer straight from the horse's mouth so to speak.
