Picture of the Night: The trouble with twins...

It took me a little while to find something suitable for the P of the D, so I suppose I might as well label it Picture of the Night. For those who are seeing this in broad daylight... disregard this message and carry-on as usual I suppose.

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

 • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

 • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

This thread would benefit greatly from an official Spanish corrector. If you would like to help out in this way, please send me a PM. It does not matter if you are new to this site or an established member, anyone fluent in Spanish can be very helpful!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day: Oh no... this is a very dumb sport!

And here is the Picture of the Day:

Simplemente no puedo entender cómo un bebé pequeño puede moverse tan rápido.

I just can't understand how one little baby can move so fast.

I apologise in advance as this is in rather poor taste but now that it popped into my head I can't come up with anything else :}

¿Quién se tiró un pedo?

Who farted?

Gran toma doble. Kiwi advised = ¡Un gran mirar de nuevo!

Life can be difficult for a brother sometimes.

Great double take

Well done Ray, n fortunately to double take doesn't translate literally, you could try = reaccionar con torpeza. Or ....mirar de nuevo. :) - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 13, 2015
(unfortunately) - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 13, 2015
Gracias querida dag, I have changed accordingly. - ray76, Mar 13, 2015

Did you say one of these is the evil twin?

I rewrote it on Kiwi's suggestion that my initial attempt was not so good:

Me pregunto cuál de los dos al crecer pasará a ser la exigente.

I wonder which of the two will grow up to be the high maintenance one.

That's trickier than it looks isnt it, I'd like to know how a native speaker would put it, I might be inclined along the lines of .... - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 13, 2015
But I'm probably way off lol ;) - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 13, 2015
Okay I made a new effort this morning, does this one sound any better? - bosquederoble, Mar 13, 2015

Does this mean I'm only going to get a third as many presents this Christmas ?

The trouble with twin girls is he just doesn't know which one to kiss, ah, maybe both!

But if he kisses one, the other one will get jealous that he kissed her sis first! And vice versa. - Ninaleerlibro, Mar 16, 2015

Lol ¡Muy divertido, Gringo bien hecho! :) - FELIZ77, Mar 16, 2015
Thanks Kiwi. Here they use dejar as well as parar for stop. Parar is more for stop that is related to movement. As in stop the car, stop walking, etc. - gringojrf, Mar 17, 2015
lol I meant to type dejar 'de' pistear, sorry - it was the missing 'de' that i wanted to mention - Kiwi-Girl, Mar 17, 2015

El bebé en el centro:? ¡Me vuelvo loco! ¡Creía que podría reconocer a mi propia hermana bebé ...pero ahora, bueno, no estoy tan seguro! ¿Quizás, deba pedir un examen de vista? ?

The baby boy in the centre: "I am going crazy! I used to think (believe that) I would be able to recognise my own baby sister, but now, well, I am not so sure! Perhaps I should ask for an eye test?

Corrijan mi español, por favor smile
