Check what I did incorrectly.

Question

I"m trying to use the imperfect verbs of ir, ver, and ser and some of them I did were wrong.

Cuando nosotros (1) éramos niños, mi hermano y yo (2) iba al doctor Rodríguez. Nosotros (3) íbamos a su consultorio después de las clases. Mi madre (4) veía con nosotros. El doctor Rodríguez (5) era muy simpático. El doctor y la enfermera (6) eran muy amables con nosotros. ¿Ustedes (7) ibas al consultorio del doctor Rodríguez?

2 could be: ...mi hermano y yo veíamos al doctor Rodríguez. (we used to see Dr. Rodriguez) - Jubilado, Dec 3, 2014

Imperfect

yo iba, tu ibas, él/ ella/ Ud/ iba, nosotros íbamos, vosotros ibais, ellos/ellas/ Uds/iban

1) Mi hermano y yo needs the nosostros form so íbamos

Cuando nosotros (1) éramos niños, mi hermano y yo (2) íbamos al doctor Rodríguez. Nosotros (3) íbamos a su consultorio después de las clases. Mi madre (4) iba con nosotros. El doctor Rodríguez (5) era muy simpático. El doctor y la enfermera (6) eran muy amables con nosotros. (7)¿Iban ustedes al consultorio del doctor Rodríguez? (usually the verb comes first in a question). 7) Ustedes is third person plural so imperfect if you are saying "Did you all used to go to Dr Rodriguez's office?

I can't see where you could use ver here unless you said "Did you go to see Doctor R when you were young"? Try that.

Or maybe did you used to see Dr R when you were young?

Maybe something like.. El doctor Rodríguez lo veía(mos?) muy simpático. ? Would that be possible to say? - Suzanne_Romijnders, Dec 3, 2014
