New Moderators

Question

I would like to announce two great new moderators to add to our existing ones. Mr.Ray76 and Mr.Ian-Hill have graciously accepted this wonderful role on our forum. Please welcome them!

They along with Bandit51jd,Rac1,andNikkiRivera will continue to help make our Forum a great place to learn and interact.

This is really good news. Both of these people are simply amazing.

I have seen many people on the Internet who write priceless replies to all questions. Many others crack jokes and lighten up the mood in every discussion, preventing flame wars (the bane, doubless, of all internet forums).

But there are very few of the 'root men'. People whose writing is informative without having an air of stuck-up superiority. Whose humor resembles the calming effect of oil on water without the petroleum stench that makes people complain of oil leaks.

Thank you for being the root men of our forum, tío Ray and señor Ian. I hope that you will continue as the stout, sinuous roots of this community, idols to us forumers, both old and new, and unshakeable figures in the great world beyond.

I know root man is a weird term, but I can't figure out a way of expressing it without using grandiose words like 'ancients' (which will probably make them sound old) and 'guardians' (which sounds like some sort of action-packed role).

This is a wonderful post mate and covers all aspects of what Ian and i are all about , we were both talking and saying perhaps this could be the start of an era of the "ancients" so you were on the button mate as usual. - ray76, Jan 31, 2014
