Hello everyone,

The Picture of the Day. Game for practicing and having fun.

- Guidelines -

Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy. ;^)

Remember to correct your posts as suggested. Posts that are not corrected cannot be "accepted".

Please give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

I will advise on the Spanish part, and I'm still looking for volunteers on the English part.

This is the previous: Picture of the day: Macho
(Please correct my English)

Message to others, your attempt is futile - we have a winner here. Jajaja - RelaxingCup, Dec 17, 2013
Thank you RC ,I'll fix it now. - heliotropeman, Dec 18, 2013

Are you really going to wear that string bikini to the beach?

Most certainly! - annierats, Dec 17, 2013
I could not find a translation for 'string bikini' I just say "bikini". My suggestion: "¿Vas a ponerte ese bikini en la playa realmente?" or "¿De verdad vas a ponerte ese bikini en la playa?". Saludos :) - RelaxingCup, Dec 17, 2013
- annierats, Dec 17, 2013
Oook :) - RelaxingCup, Dec 17, 2013
Annie, you may do anything you want! - Raja-jani, Dec 17, 2013
Gracias, RC. It seems string bikinis are not popular in your area. - Raja-jani, Dec 17, 2013
Not really. They are quite popular but we say just: "tiny/minuscule bikinis". And I'm sure that a woman (or a man who is familiar with bikinis) would understand the expression "bikinis de cuerdecilla" (diminutive for cuerda). But not common practice. - RelaxingCup, Dec 18, 2013

It appears this guy is practicing a Christmas carol.

It's not one rat but a pack of rats!

Hi bandit, in this cases 'but' is translated as "si no". Otherwise is correct. Un saludo! - RelaxingCup, Dec 17, 2013

The dentist just gave me his bill.

"Acabó de darme la cuenta" implies that the process of giving you the bill was long and just finished.
Thank you! - annierats, Dec 17, 2013
