Totally confused or feeling enlightened? There are many forms of "to feel or believe," each with slight differences in meaning. Following on with some practice for Ray's delightful can of worms here... (parenthesis within the quote are added by me.)
Creo...I think (I believe)
Creo que te equivocas.I think (I believe) you are wrong.
Creo que reciclar es necesario.I think (I believe) that recycling is necessary.
Write a short sentence in English and Spanish, expressing what you or someone else believes something to be, using creer. Don't forget to vote up your fellow posters.

believeverb (used without object)
• to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although withoutabsolute proof that one is right in doing so: Only if one believes in something can one act purposefully.
verb (used with object)
• to have confidence or faith in the truth of (a positive assertion, story, etc.); give credence to.
• to have confidence in the assertions of (a person).
• to have a conviction that (a person or thing) is, has been, or will be engaged in a given action orinvolved in a given situation: The fugitive is believed to be headed for the Mexican border.
