16. stuedioso>estudioso/ studious

I try to be studious by practicing Spanish every day. Trato de ser estudiosa por practicando español cada día. I had trouble with this sentence. I didn't know if I was supposed to put a word in front of ser. I changed estudioso to estudiosa because I am female. Was that the right thing to do? Please help me correct the sentence if it is wrong.

Your use of intento is fine. The pronoun yo is not needed. I think another way to say "I try to be" is "trato ser". Can anyone confirm this? Muchas gracias! - bandit51jd, Jun 2, 2013
Yes, studious is describing you, the person, so it's female. - bandit51jd, Jun 2, 2013
