"look at it"
How do you say "look at it" in Spanish?

The verb in Spanish meaning to look at = /is mirar (This is different from the verb to observe: observar)
How the word it is translated in Spanish depends on what it is representing, The word it is a direct object pronoun... and is used in place of a noun to avoid repetition where the noun (eg: book, house or chair) has already been mentioned.
Words in Spanish can be either masculine or feminine and have an article in front of them, eg: la casa= the house, or el hombre = the man; but their gender has nothing to do with whether you yourself are a man or a woman!
Generally speaking the guideline is that If the word it is representing/standing in for, is a masculine word, lo would be used but if a feminine word, then la would be used!
ex: I gave him the book) = Le di el libro (masc) but I gave it to him = Se lo di
She showed us her new bicicyle = Nos mostró su nueva bicicleta. (feminine)
but...She showed it to us = Nos la mostró
There are times when it is not known/clear what it is representing and so the masculine lo is used
eg No lo entiendo =I don't understand it
I have tried to keep it simple but the word it cannot always be translated using the pronouns lo or la but must be translated using verbs in the third person singular he/she/ It /You eg:
Perhaps it would be better to wait = Quizás seria (it would be ) mejor esperar
So to come back to your question, what does the word it represent in your sentence? The command (or imperative )form would be used! I would say it would be: ¡Míralo! = Look at it!
I hope this helps you!
