Lol, Ray, everywhere else. - rac1, Feb 23, 2013
Ordenador is a clear imitation of the French term for computer. - rac1, Feb 23, 2013

I can definitely confirm that the word of choice in Spain is "ordenador." I have never heard computadora.

Portátil is a laptop.

From the title of your question, computadora I think is used for "computer" in most or all of Latin America (though don't take my word for it!) and ordenador is used in Spain. As far as "pool" goes (is that what you asked in your description?) I only know two words for it and there very well may be many more. Alberca, it seems to me, is used in parts of Mexico and other Latin American countries. Piscina probably is too, but I'm not sure exactly where--it may be what they say in Spain as well as in some parts of Latin America.

Yep, "piscina" in Spain, though that doesn't mean it's not used elsewhere. - MyHeadAboveWater, Feb 23, 2013

Welcome mate .

You can look it up in the translator , but try these -

Ordenador,

Computadora

Máquina ordenadora .

Which one is in common use I would think ," computadora" but am not sure.
