Gordon and Nancy,
As I said above, you may want to each have your own account so when you finish a lesson, you can get points. Sometimes one of you will want to move faster than the other and then it's hard to remember where you are in the lessons, which ones you've already done, etc.
I started by doing the video lessons. Go to Learn on the toolbar and the drop-down will give you choices for "learn Spanish", flashcards, or grammar. Go to the lessons and start with video lesson 1. Most of the videos are about 10 minutes long and you can watch them as many times as you want. The flashcards teach you the vocabulary used and then there are practice exercises for the lessons. On the blog, there are a lot of informative posts to help you know your way around. And you are welcome to send a PM (private message) to me if you have any questions too. I don't know everything but I've been on awhile and know the basics. Click on this link for the blog or go to the toolbar under "More".
- Go to the bank. Arrange an overdraft.
- Use the overdraft to buy another computer.
- Now set up a separate account for each of you.
- Thank me for this sugggestion, because if you don't hours, weeks, maybe even months of fighting over the computer and the Spanish Grammar will follow...
You can sign up by creating an account for each of you, then you can explore the site.
The "Learn" header has lessons and flashcards to get you going in the right direction.
The site has many helpful and kind users to help you out along the way.
Welcome and have fun!
