What are the best ways to learn Spanish?
I'm trying to learn a new language. What are the best ways to learn Spanish?

I'm learning Spanish too. Since I'm just a beginner, I may not be able to help much. But here's some tips I've gathered by looking at other people's questions and answers here:
--Talk to yourself in Spanish often. Say a word and visualize it--for example, "espejo" means mirror. Remember the word and visualize the mirror.
--Stick flashcards on everything. For example, I taped a flashcard that says "cama" to my bed. "Cama" means "bed" in Spanish. It totally helps--once again, you're seeing the object, not just saying the word randomly.
--Talk to a Spanish friend. If you don't have one, talk to yourself lol. It always helps to get a Spanish person's point of view. Talking to them, even just reciting one words, improves your pronunciation.
--****Start the Lessons here on Spanish Dict, and don't move on until you feel ready.**
--Don't discourage yourself. Keep trying, (at least you care to learn unlike some other people). And Keep talking to yourself.
--Some extra suggestions are to read books to learn more writing and sentence structure, and/or watch movies. I suggest doing that when you've built up your vocab more, but it's your call on that. Also, research other people who have asked this question and look at their replies.
Welcome to our Spanishdict.com forum.
He editado su pregunta porque es muy fácil de mezclar los idiomas español e inglés, o mezclar idiomas cuando se estudiamos más que uno a la vez.
Por favor, corrija mi español.
I´ve edited your question because it is very easy to mix English and Spanish, or mix languages when we study more than one at a time.
Here on our site, we learn in so many different ways; the learning videos, the dictionary, the translator, the grammar and quiz section, or the flashcards are all here for your use. We offer this forum and our members are willing to help as long as you follow the forum rules.
By using the search box under the green "Ask a Question" you can type in words, such as; television, music, radio, lyrics, or cartoons. There are many, many posts that have previously been asked.
I hope this helps!
Hi
I`m also learning spanish and have created my own blog to keep myself going. There you can get some good tips about what I have done during my learning process.
Check out the "Materiales para aprender" - category.
Hope you will take some time to check it out!
Best Regards, Thomas.

Another good way is to review all "The speak" activities on each lesson. that helped me out too.
