Good job : ) Though Spanish translation mayn't be required - Fidalgo, Feb 29, 2012
Fidalgo, even though the Spanish isn't required, I'm learning when the Spanish is included. I hope that the older members will take the lead and include this for everybody's benefit. - bandit51jd, Feb 29, 2012
Cheers! - Jraider, Feb 29, 2012
If I don't do the Spanish too, there's no point. I'm learning Spanish, not English. - mstivers, Mar 1, 2012
¡Muy bien, Mstivers! :) - Cordobesa, Mar 1, 2012
Hi all, the focus for this thread is for those among us learning English, so that is why I changed the rules not to include the Spanish. I would like to devote this thread to helping those with their English instead of correcting the Spanish. - Paralee, Mar 1, 2012
The more native Spanish speakers we have, the better, and it would be great to have some threads devoted especially to them. I hope you understand! - Paralee, Mar 1, 2012
Para hacer una buena corrección es necesario tener ambas versiones, la española y la inglesa. Y a los nativos hispanohablantes también nos viene muy bien ver la frase en español, no olvides que puede haber mucha gente que todavía no sea capaz de leer... - Cordobesa, Mar 1, 2012
...y entender una frase en inglés sin la correspondiente traducción. - Cordobesa, Mar 1, 2012
Okay... now I get it. Gracias. - mstivers, Mar 1, 2012
"changed the rules not to include the Spanish" -- So, how are you supposed to know how to correct them? What if the English is not clear enough? - NikkiLR, Mar 2, 2012
I am with Cordobesa. - NikkiLR, Mar 2, 2012

Nice work! - katydew, Feb 29, 2012
It sounds a bit awkward with "still" in there. Maybe: "He will (still) come to your house later because he is cooking a tasty dish for you."? - Paralee, Mar 1, 2012
Muchas gracias, Profesora Paralee, Katydew, y todos : ) - Fidalgo, Mar 3, 2012

El perro: Siempre es más tarde con este bebé. Él Siempre está durmiendo la siesta. ¡Qué aburrido!

Dog: It’s always later with this baby. He is always taking a nap. Boring!

:))) ¡Muy bien, Bandit! Perhaps, it would be better without "Él" and I would add ¡Qué aburrido! - Cordobesa, Mar 1, 2012
I forgot I introduced the speaker with "El perro"! And I thought about the "Qué" but wasn't sure. At least I'm thinking those words, just not using them yet! Muchas gracias, Cordobesa! - bandit51jd, Mar 1, 2012

Every time I think about the 'Wonderful' world of housework, Ironing, laundry or dusting. The phrase that always comes to mind is:

"I'll do it later"!!!

Or even 'Better' martha....Get some servants! - jool, Feb 29, 2012
Perfect grammar, just a few corrections on punctuation and capital letters: "wonderful" (with the double quotations and not capitalized), "ironing" (not capitalized). - Paralee, Mar 1, 2012

I learned that "luego" means "later", and "despues" means "after"; and later on, I ran into "desde luego"!!

Aprendé que "luego" significa "later", y "desde" significa "after"; ¡más tarde encontré "despues luego"! enter image description here (es significa "then later" ...)
