How to answer a question.
I haven't seen a comment on this topic for awhile, so I thought I make one. A lot of questions are asked every day on SD, and lots of very helpful members try to answer them. There are some guidelines that make things go smoother if we follow them as much as possible.
This is a learning site. To that end, rather than give someone an answer they could look up themselves, where possible, tell them where to find the answer. This especially applies to questions like, "What's the Spanish word for ________ ?" or "What's the third person plural for _________ ?" if you just give the answer they won't remember it as well as if they look it up, and the next time they'll know where to find the answer.
BE NICE! People often ask silly questions, inarticulately, with terrible spelling and punctuation. If you choose to answer the question, do it in a way you would like to be corrected. Many of us get corrections on SD all the time. I wouldn't last long if I got reamed for my mistakes.
Read the posts before yours to avoid repeating the same info. Certainly, there are times when there are no answers when I start writing and 2 or 3 by the time I post. That's not what I mean. if there are answers already given, at least glance though them to see if you have anything to add.
Welcome new users. It's nice to be acknowledged and welcomed into the group. This is a case when someone else may have already said it, but you can add your two cents. Your positive comment may help a shy person become a star member.

And an example of how you should probably not do it:
