My Example:

La primera vez que intenté hablar con el mesero de un restaurante mexicano en español, me dijo - ¿Puede hablar español?, y le respondí - ¡claro que puedo! (en mis sueños, jeje)


The first time I tried to talk to a waiter in a Mexican restaurant in Spanish, he said to me – You can speak Spanish? I responded – Of course I can! (in my dreams..haha)
