How can I get back into the old SD?
My PC was powered off accidentaly.
Now I don't seem able to get back into the "old" SD.
Any ideas how I can do this? Thank you.

I went to bed about 8 hours ago and the world was alive and operating
in a useful and knowing way , I now find that WW3 has begun in my
absence , my old comfortable cloth slippers have been replaced by
plastic ones with no laces , my old ones are nowhere to be found
they were quite functional everything was in my reach , they flipped
and flopped as slippers should , maybe a little moth eaten but well loved ,
I am an old dog with fleas and bits missing I do not need the added
encumbrance of bells and whistles when a grumble and grunt will suffice.
And who is it that has the unnimittigating gall to force me to accept with
no option to refuse this unwanted effluent pervading my screen .
Begone "flash harry " give me back my slippers.
Beam me up Scotty I want to go where old slippers go ,
to a kind and gentler place where old folks are left to grow
And ancient spanishdicters frolic in verbal conjugations
a translation free land and every vote thousand reputations
gained and badges handed out like lollipops to suckle all.
Lol... I would like to take a moment to state the obvious. Span¡shD!ct is going through it's Facebook stage and changing it's look in order to attempt to attract new people, and at the same time entertain the young people with a new look. 
Case being the same as Facebook, I absolutely abhor the new look and functionality. "Don't fix it if it ain't broken" is what I was always taught. 
EDIT:Pleeeease do not vote for me till they fix the negative votes. The vote system now subtracts votes and rep instead of adding them! 
EDIT2:Hmmm... someone does not follow directions but it seems to have worked ok for me. Lol, why is it subtracting votes from Gekko!?! Pobre amigo mio... =\
Mystery solved: the "New" and very arguably "improved" SD has just gone on production. There is no going back to the "Old" SD anymore! 
Oh-oh, what's going on? I can't access either.
I don't like this new version, I'm not comfortable here.
Aren't we going to be able to use our old site any more?
As someone who´s made a living writing software for 30 years I have to say this is definitely not a well thought out interface. It appears that most of the feedback from the beta version was ignored, and very little testing went into the current version before it went live. The changes don't seem to bring much in the way of good new stuff, they've broken a lot of the good old stuff, hidden some of the rest of it, and managed to annoy virtually all of the regulars who make this place useful. I'd really hate to see the forum turn into a semi-ghost town used only by people expecting automatic free translations or looking for someone to do their homework for them.
I'm not going to take my ball and go home, but I sure hope someone goes back through all the feedback we've taken the time to give and considers it seriously.
The new Spanishdict.com... YACK!!! I guess it is time for me to retire from SpanishDict.com. I know a few that are going to be happy to see me go!
Ian, I'm using the old site in Windows without problems, you just have to come and visit me, that's all! 
I don't understand the mechanism at work here. It's not happening to me, using Firefox.
Instead of just deleting the "beta" from the address, replace "beta" with "www" and see if that works. The correct full address for the old site should be:
http://www.spanishdict.com
Well, Internet Explorer seems to allow it. Mozilla wants to immediately direct you into the beta though.
My first idea... modify the URL and remove the beta in it.
If that doesn't work, go to a specific post (this one would work) and then modify the URL by removing the beta. That should directly link you into the old view and you can navigate from there.
Of course, there may be a simpler way like a button, but I don't see it.

I've now been redirected to the new site. They have improved the look and feel a little, from how it was a few weeks ago, but I still don't like it. Where is the Reference Section? I asked this question a few weeks ago, but the question seems to have disappeared??? I'm particularly interested in the article on transitive/intransitive verbs and the use of 'se' written by Lazarus
Will the old SD still be available now? Please let us know. (It just went live.)

What?... Is the link leading you to the new SD?... Seems that no one can save us this time.
I am going to have to take a break from SD until this is sorted out. I am Pet Korun on the word reference forums if anyone is looking for me.
I am not trying to be a brat by leaving, I honestly have a headache from reading the screen here. I know it doesn´t matter since most SD traffic is not regular users but Googlers looking for video lessons or a dictionary.
I know that I am old ( ancient even ) but why am I forced to make use of a
Spectron Microscope in order to see the avatars on Q & A , How stupid and thoughtless.
