How would you translate the got in the sentence above? I really puzzled!

Conseguí la fecha equivocada en español

Could be the above B U T

wait for a native because "get" is one of the most annoying verbs to translate.

It translates into about 10 verbs in Spanish.

In the dictionary, equivocar has an example: I got the date wrong as "Equivoqué la fecha...."

I agree with Ian.

Use the exact verb for a correct translation,ie: did you write the date incorrectly, did you spell it incorrectly, did you understand it incorrectly, etc, etc?
