I worked is ''trabajé'' I was working/I used to work is ''trabajaba'' (This refers to habitual action in the past)

I am sorry but your answer is not correct. 'Trabajo'' means I work (present tense) The questioner was asking about the past :) The personal pronoun is not necessary or used by native speakers most of the time as trabajo for example can only mean: '' I wor - FELIZ77, Nov 28, 2011
