My teacher would not tell us what "who" meant in Spanish yesterday and I was just wondering.

Who doesn't mean anything in Spanish as it is an English word wink

Jeje, just messin' with you. You probably mean what is its translation, right? It translates to "¿quién..." (the accent is needed for the interrogative "version") or "quien" (no accent when it is not the interrogative form).

Quien - relative

Quién - interrogative

Why wouldn't your teacher tell you? rolleyes That's ridiculous...

Probably because it depends on context. Que or el que, la que, etc, can also mean "who" - 0074b507, Sep 13, 2011
el hombre que...the man who..... - 0074b507, Sep 13, 2011
