"Para entonces yo ya no estaré aquí"

Question

What is the meaning of "ya" in this context? I believe when "ya" is used with the future tense its meaning shifts from "already" to "soon", however, "By then I will not be here soon" doesn't make any sense.

ya no=no longer

(en frases negativas)

• ya no me duele -> it doesn't hurt any more, it no longer hurts
• ya no es así -> it's no longer like that

By then I will no longer be here.

That "ya" means "effectively" in that context.
