There is no "we put informal" - you meant "you (plural) put informal". Welcome to the forum! - pesta, Jul 26, 2011

"Poner" means "to put".

Here is the conjugation for the present tense (indicative mood).

-pono (I put) -pones (you put) -pone (you put informal) -ponamos (we put) -ponais (we put informal) -ponan (they put)

"Pono" (I put) - Poner is what they call a "go" verb. As you can see, it's "yo" form is irregular because it ends in "go".

"Pones" is you (informal) put.

"Pone" is not you (informal) put. It's actually the opposite wink. "Pone" is the él (he)/ella (she)/usted (you formal) form.

Now, you were conjugating correctly up until here. Why'd you start using the -ar endings? wink

"Ponamos" should be "ponemos".

"Ponais" should be "ponéis".

"Ponan" should be "ponen".

For any future verb conjugation questions, feel free to enter your infinitive here.

I hope I helped grin
