A Beginner's Guide to Span¡shD!ct: Posting on the forum (Pictures, links, and punctuation!)
I apologize for any not-showing pictures or text-color codes being revealed.
y cant i talk like this on da forum?
Please, pretty, pretty please, use proper grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling on the forum! Again, not only are we a Spanish-learning community, but also an English-learning community. Since we have people learning English, don't use "text talk". The "omg" and "lol" aren't frowned upon, but "plz help me wit mi hw" is. So, please, use proper English

How to post links
Posting on the forum is easy, but new members often come across problems when trying to post links. It's actually not too difficult.
Step 1: Go to the website you want and copy its url. (NOTE: If using a search engine's image search (like Google Images or Bing Images, you must to click "See full-size image"). You then have to copy that URL.
Step 2: Come back to your SpanishDict post and click the icon with the world and green arrow.
Step 3: Paste the url
Step 4: Replace "link text" with whatever you want your link to say (example: Click here to see it!)
How to post pictures
Again, new members often find it difficult to post pictures (I know I did ). It's easy, and it's an excellent way to spice up your posts. Hey, funny pictures are good vote-getters!!
Step 1: Copy the url for the picture (if you use the image search on search engines, make sure you click "See full-size image")
Step 2: Come back to your SpanishDict post and click the icon that is a white square with a little blue/green square within it.
Step 3: Paste the url.
Step 4: That's it! Your picture will be working.
Note: The site has some problems with photos from sites such as Photobucket. What you should if you ever run into a problem posting photos is check tinyurl.com. It can turn a very long url into a shortened, simple one.
