Is there any difference between "la leňa" and "la madera"?

Hey Guys! Can you tell me the difference between the words "la leña" and la madera? Both mean wood. Is there any contextual difference or they are completely interchangable? Thank you.

Leña is usually firewood while madera is the generic word for wood or wooden (de madera)
