Actually, there are more than one type of bean. The general term for bean is frijo (also found in the translator here) if you can be more specific we can better help you. grin

Who cares about beans when you have located such an awesome way to spell "you". Pronouncing it "yhew" gives my pulmones a good workout.

It would take you less time to found out the Spanish equivalent if you looked up the word in the dictionary on this website... hmmm

Here in Spain the generic term is probably alubias. Judias is a close second option and then broad bean habas. Click here : Alubiato take yourself to the translator, while there, realise how useful it is wink. Type in habas for example...not to mention "beans"

Depends on where you are. The chileno says it's "poroto" in Chile. In Puerto Rico it is "habichuela", Most other places it's "frijol / frijoles / frijolitos".
