Can someone translate an email for me?

I received an email from a friend of mine in Mexico. It is in spanish and I have no idea what it says. I was hoping I can send it to someone and they can let me know what it says. As I dont know what it says exactly and may be personal I dont want to post it on here but am interested as to what it says. Any help?

Why don't you run it past the machine translator first? It should at least be able to provide enough context to see if it is a personal note or not.

Well after going over the email many times, I have realized that he did spell many words wrong. Now to find a spanish spell/grammar helper. For instance his first word was ketal....which finally figured out actually meant que tal.

Perhaps you could write your friend and explain that you did not understand the email and are hesitant about letting anyone read it, and ask if she could re-send the email in English.

You need to correct any spelling errors in the original text, remove "texting"-styled abbreviations, etc. Translators are terrible when you don't clean it up first.

I did and I can only pick out a few words here and there. I guess I should have said it is a personal email, I am just not sure exactly what it says. Sorry, perhaps my original post didnt make much sense. What I had meant is that its not a business email.

it doesn't matter if it is a personal or business letter, the translator will still translate it the same way. - MeEncantanCarasSonrisas, Apr 30, 2011

Use a translator. The translations they give aren't perfect, but they give a general idea as to what it says, that is unless the message uses short hand or slang or even misspelled words.. Then, it's almost impossible for it to translate because of they way they are currently set up. Here is a link to 3 translators: link text. Google is usually the best. Between the 3, you should have a pretty good idea as to what the email says.
