Le is the pronoun used when saying él (He), ella (She) or usted (You, formal)

Te is used when saying tú (You, informal)

For example, you would say:

Te gustan los fresas (You like strawberries)

A él le gustan los fresas (He likes strawberries)

A ella le gustan los fresas (She likes strawberries)

A usted le gustan los fresas (You like strawberries) (formal)

A él, A ella or A usted is always used before le to specify who you are talking about.

I seriously doubt that last statment. Usually the meaning of le is taken from context. - 0074b507, Apr 16, 2011
