Responding to Questions
Hola,
I'm a fairly new spanish student and I'm trying to get better at correctly responding to questions in spanish. for example:
Q: ¿Quieres servir el café a los clientes?
A: lo quiero servir
Is that right? Some other questions I'm working on for class include:
Q: ¿Tienes que hacer la tarea en casa?
Q: ¿Pides siempre todo a todo el mundo?
Q: ¿Qué pides cuando vas al restaurante?
Q: ¿Piensas seguir en Michigan?
These are just sample questions for an upcoming quiz so I want to make sure I'm doing them right. any help with these would be appreciated. muchas gracias.

You forgot to answer the questions. You need to answer them so we can check your answers because
We don't do homework. (Ugh!)
Here's a hint. Whenever you have both direct and indirect objects in the same sentence, whether separate in front of the verb or attached behind the verb, the indirect will always come first.
Hello, and Welcome to the SpanishDict forum, jzenz ![]()
Who are these questions for, please? Are they for you or the other students in your class? By that I mean, who does your teacher expect to answer them?
I ask this because we do not do people's homework for them here
we encourage people to post their best attempts at translation -using either their current knowledge of Spanish or the translation machine - and people here will be pleased to offer corrections, guidance and advice
Here is a direct link to the translation machine: link text
We look forward to helping you :-)
In the first (and only) question you answered you are correct. It could also be quiero servirlo. I know that you are still a beginner, but you may want to try elaborating at least a little bit. Maybe something like "Quiero servir el café peruano con leche y azúcar." If you make any attempts to answer the rest of your questions I'm sure there are a lot of people who will help you.
