How do you learn Spanish?
What's the best way to learn Spanish? Is it through memorizing, speaking, watching videos, taking a class, etc. Or does it depend on the person, their learning style and experiences/history?
I'm trying to learn and would love some feedback.

Seriously, the success in the learning depends on the individual.
Let's start from the BEGINNING.
Most give up half way because the incentive they started out with is not strong enough. A teacher did a test once when he conducted a Spanish course to two classes of students - to the first group, he offered an attractive incentive with some achievable conditions. To another, he did not mention anything. The course contents and teaching methods are exactly the same. Guess what, the first group did much better than the second. When this test is repeated, the same result was obtained. it is worth your time to really sit down and think why you want to learn the language.
Then there's the LEARNING METHOD.
There are as many ways to learn a language as there are to cook an egg. Some do well with the sunny-side-up, others do better with boiling. Then there is hard boil which is the easiest, and the half boil, which requires a bit of skill, etc. When we learn Spanish in elementary school, we usually memorize-by-heart every single thing. I wonder how I managed to memorize all those verbs and conjugations. Through the years, we discovered that there are SHORT-CUTS. A good teacher will be able to effectively tell you what they are.
Lastly, there are FUN ACTIVITIES.
You will do well with some outside-the-class, interesting, motivating resources to keep you going. Reason: Learning any language is an uphill task in the beginning. Doing it with an already busy schedule is going to need some fun motivation. I know of a website that has this interesting resources - http://www.BridgeSA.net. Why not try it out?
