I buy aceitunas sin huesos. That is olives with the stones taken out yes fruit stones are called bones here in Spain.

I didn't know the seed inside an olive was called a stone like a peach, etc. I thought it was a pit as they say pitted olives on a can or jar. Googling I see that it is either. - 0074b507, Feb 18, 2011

In the US we usally refer to them as pits unless you are in the farming community where the make a difference between stone fruits as apposed to seed fruits. My cousins in England refer to them as stones. - Hungerford, Feb 18, 2011
