.

My example:

.

Bendígame padre porque he pecado.

Bless me, Father for I have sinned. It's been a week since my last confession and I've used the subjunctive in Spanish sentences where I shouldn't have and personal pronouns unnecessarily, and I can't stop doing it wink!

Funny one Jenn, lol - Brynleigh, Jan 22, 2011
Very good, Jen! :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Dunce corner for this priest! :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Thanks Cogu, what a disaster! And the worst thing is that I actually looked up what's said in a Spanish confessional!!!!! - --Jen--, Jan 23, 2011
Jen, I'm doubting now...Reading it again I think I'm probably wrong with this one. It'd be good to hear more opinions here. I'm sorry for the confusion... :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Amén» «Bendígame, Padre, he pecado.
- 00494d19, Jan 23, 2011

No, really! SpanishDict is not boring at all! I am addicted to it.

No, ¡en serio! ¡SpanishDict no es aburrido en absoluto! Soy adicto a él.

This imperative would be: Permanezca en silencio, but we actually say "Silencio, por favor", estoy... Good, jennyo! - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011

You're telling me you're not going to sin anymore if I open my mouth this wide, right?emphasized text

My ear does not bend that far.

That was very difficult, bend is not doblar here. Neither inclinar, nor agachar. I think you mean "mi oído no da para tanto"or 'no llega tan lejos', but I'm not sure at all. Sorry, dogwood - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Maybe tomorrow will be better! Thanks! :) - 0066c384, Jan 23, 2011

Priest thinking to himself: "Did I just yawn, surely I did not just yawn"! Now I have to make time to go see Father...

Well, this is what I understand, let me know if I'm wrong. ¿Acabo de bostezar? Seguramente no. - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011

You call that a sin? That is nothing.

¿Le llamas a eso pecado? Eso no es nada.
