My example:

.

Bendígame padre porque he pecado.

Bless me, Father for I have sinned. It's been a week since my last confession and I've used the subjunctive in Spanish sentences where I shouldn't have and personal pronouns unnecessarily, and I can't stop doing it wink!

Very good, Jen! :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Dunce corner for this priest! :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Thanks Cogu, what a disaster! And the worst thing is that I actually looked up what's said in a Spanish confessional!!!!! - --Jen--, Jan 23, 2011
Jen, I'm doubting now...Reading it again I think I'm probably wrong with this one. It'd be good to hear more opinions here. I'm sorry for the confusion... :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
Amén» «Bendígame, Padre, he pecado.

This is so boring. Can't anyone here confess an original sin?

Dear God help me! This is more boring than watching paint dry and more boring than listening to a game of chess on the radio.

It's good , but the idiom doesn't make sense. :) - cogumela, Jan 23, 2011
thanks cogumels :) That does sound boring! lol - Brynleigh, Jan 23, 2011

Te lo he dicho antes! Y repito!

I have told you before, and I repeat! It is not a sin to use personal pronouns! I don't care who told you!

¿Eso es todo lo que has hecho? Necesitas vivir un poco, hombre.

That's all that you have done? You need to get a life!

I wonder if it would be rude to ask him to go home and e-mail me the rest of his sins. Four hours of this is long enough!

Some years ago when I was in St Peters in Rome, my son suggested I go to confession. I said it would not be a good idea, because the confessional would probably melt.
