Hi all.

I'm not able to see the word of the day in the Homepage. Anyone able to see that? Anyone know what is the 'Word of the day' today? I want to check whether this is an issue with my system or with the Webpage.

It appears that we have to figure out the word this time.

Parece que nos tenemos que figurar la palabra del día esta vez

Hmmm...nunca he visto tal construcción como "tenerse que" (nos tenemos que). Tiene algún sentido más especial que solo tenemos que? - webdunce, Jan 17, 2011
Oh, es "tenemos que figurarnos"...right? - webdunce, Jan 17, 2011
Cogu is here to teach us something.. let's have a run for it! :) - sv2qp, Jan 17, 2011
Yes, web, you're right. It can be said in both ways - cogumela, Jan 17, 2011
Gracias, cogu. :-) En este caso, sí la he visto antes. Solo no sabía lo que veía. - webdunce, Jan 17, 2011

I don't know what time the 'Word of the Day' usually gets published but I would just wait a bit longer. In Western Europe, it's only noon.

For Monday 17th January

Reacio, reluctant, unwilling, is the opposite of dispuesto. You often use it with the preposition a and an infinitive:

Es reacio a aceptar la propuesta. He’s reluctant to accept the suggestion.

El 40% de los usuarios es reacio a pagar más. 40% of users are unwilling to pay more.
