How to make flashcards--a flashcard set

Some people have sent me PMs, and I have noticed questions in the forum about flashcards. Some of you had questions about listing your flashcard and editing them. I made a set of flashcards called "Making flashcards." Also the biggest problem seems to be getting the accents, so I am including a thread on how to get accents. Take a look at this flashcard set, Making flashcards

Flashcard set -Making flashcards

Please read the instructions on how to make a flashcard set also in this

reference article (created by Quentin)

Great reference article! Thanks Quentin and Heidita! - sanlee, Jan 8, 2011
Don't get me involved. Heidita made that article from a thread of mine and put my name on it. - 0074b507, Jan 9, 2011

This is a previous question about how to do accents. If anyone has additional information, it would be greatly appreciated. It is much better if you can get the keyboard accents on your PC or Mac, but if not, here are some alternatives as there are no accents available in the flashcard section.(unless you cut and paste). Just to mention it:

When you create a link to a set of your flashcards, so that you can tell us how to proceed, realize that we do not see exactly what you see. If the flashcards are not yours, you don't see things like the "edit my flashcards". Only the owner of the set sees that.

It's similar to explaining to someone how to change their account configuration. If you do not use a photo of your own page to provide as an example, they will not see the links for changing my settings as those are only visible to the owner of the page. Others will not see them when looking at that page.

Also, when referring to things to click on or select, keep in mind that some people's pages are in Spanish and other's are in English.

Probably, not important here, but a lot on this site is not wysiwyg. (particulary this editor...it is browser specific sometimes).

I use Vikingo's small program that you load onto your computer for accents. Works great.
