Sí! Go to "Learn Spanish" and jump into listening and answering. Sign up for the Spanish word of the day, which is always brilliant and imaginative. Do some practice every day, especially a little before sleep if you can. Your brain will get impatient later, so it's good to establish that you looooove to spend time practicing now, when it's all fun!

Try a lot, and have the attitude of a two year old -- be not afraid of mistakes in grammar! Buena suerte!

Hi mocococo! Welcome to the forum! You can start off your lessons here with the "Learn Spanish" lessons at the top of this page. I think you'll find they are very helpful, and we are all here to answer any questions you may have.

Good luck!

Have you discovered yet that you can double-click on any word here to see an short translation? They aren't always correct for your purpose of course, as many words have several translations, but it's pretty useful.

Welcome to SD smile

Learning el alfabeto and pronunciation is a good place to start, once you understand the pronunciation rules and can say the alphabet you will be able to properly say any word you read. That is where I started. Have fun amiga. Amor y paz

Oh, by the way, you can find one of the most complete pronunciation guides on this site. Hasta luego

Do keep in mind that the machine translations are not always accurate. - EL_MAG0, Jan 8, 2011
