Normally you will ask:
¿De dónde eres? - Where are you from?
Soy de Trinidad y Tobado - I am from Trinidad and Tobago
-¿que país eres de? - What country are you from? (I am not to sure if this is correct)

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Wouldn't you like to attempt a translation before we give you the answer?

I think he is only trying to find out where we all come from, Marianne :) I am not sure that he actually wants a translation of the sentence so we can give him what he asks if we want lol - FELIZ77, Dec 7, 2010
