''se lo dije''
''se lo dije'' (I said it to him/her); I dont understand the structure of this sentence and I cant associate the meaning with it. Can anybody explain this sentence in form?

it should be according to the logic
"1)le 2)lo 3)dije" literally translated:
"1)to him 2)it 3)I said"
but due to another rule whenever you have a combination of "le lo", "le la" ....
you should change the first one (pronombre de complimento directo) with the (pronombre de complimento indirecto).
That means you change le with se!
